An Unpopular Truth
But though he (Jesus) had done so many miracles before them, yet they (Israel) believed not on him: that the saying of Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him (Jesus) (John 12:37–41 KJV emphasis added).
Of course, the report in question speaks of Jesus the Christ.[1] While the gospel has been offered to every gentile nation with varied levels of acceptance, some of the earth’s populations have been created as brute beasts predestined for their own destruction (2 Peter 2:12, Jude 1:10). This is a sad but accurate biblical truth. Pray for those who cannot internalize (see or hear) the gospel message. Pray for God’s boundless mercy on every person you know. Petition our Savior through your prayers for mercy on the lost, but more important, pray for those brothers and sisters in Christ who are currently saved and love the Lord but have not obeyed in learning God’s Word effectively. Remember, any Christian who receives the Mark of the Beast will suffer the full measure of God’s Wrath (Revelation 14:9–12).
The horrors I have witnessed in the visions of God’s Wrath bring tears to my eyes EVERY time I think on these issues. Continue reading →
