What is your first love?
Or who is your first love?
If it’s been a while since you placed your walk with God first…
Take a few moments to read this True-Life Post and reevaluate.

inWise is the Woman | Happy River on Patreon
Wise is the Woman
Wise is the woman who builds her house in peace and does not pluck it down.
A man who finds a good wife has found a treasure beyond measure.
In wisdom is a house built and established on Godly understanding.
Happy is the woman in submission to a Godly and just man.
In prudent knowledge she will fill her rooms with all manner of precious and pleasant choices.
A man who finds joy in the virgin of his youth is a blessed man,
for she will fill each room of his heart with love and peace.
A woman of wisdom increases her beauty in knowledge and plies her understanding peaceably.
The man whose wife desirers his goodwill, shall
peacefully live in the increase of her good pleasures.
She who opens her mouth wisely and wields her tongue kindly finds the favor of her husband.
Blessed is the man whose wife walks in wisdom.
To increase your wisdom in the knowledge and fear of the Lord is to increase joy; however, she also knows how fools despise wisdom and instruction more than hunger.
Wise is the man who hears instruction, and whose wife acknowledges
His ways; for the knowledge and fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
Better a single room in comfort than a mansion with a bitter and contentious woman. Wives, follow peace in humility and you are more likely to find a peaceful home.
Blessed is the man who desires to be home.
Standing at odds with the Lord is folly; if she is wise she will not do it.
Standing at odds with the Lord is folly; if he is wise he will not do it.

inFrom 1932 thru 1938 the Jewish communities of Europe were constantly reminded and warned about what was coming; “The Holocaust” as we know it today. If you’d like a look at some of those warning signs the Jews encountered then take a stroll through one of our earlier blogs: The Christian List Will Look Like? | This Side of the Whirlwind (wordpress.com)
The few Jewish families who paid attention to what was going on around them fled Europe to far-off lands and lived to talk about how blessed they were that someone got thru to them and they listened.

inOn this day – in the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth – Jesus was walking past a blind man when one of his followers asked Him, “Lord, who sinned in this man’s life; was it his parents? Is that why this man was born blind?” (John 9:1-2 paraphrased significantly)
Jesus responded, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned; rather, he suffers blindness so the works of God might be displayed in thru his life.”
Following this exchange Jesus healed the man of the blindness and then told him to go and wash himself in the Pool of Siloam.
Believable for that day, the religious community in Jerusalem had a fit when they found out Jesus dared to heal a man on their Sabbath day. How dare HE! (pun intended)
Truly a Tree for the Forest type of blindness overran the Pharisees’ vision of this great work of God.
Tucked right in the middle of this section of scripture is a entirely appropriate comment from Jesus which just so happens to also be a Prophecy related to the End of Days:
Here is what Jesus said, “As long as it is day (day-light) I must do the works of HIM who sent me. The Night (time of darkness) comes when no one can work. As long as I am (Jesus) in the world, I am (Jesus) the light of the world.” (John 9:4-5)
Jesus was/is telling us that a time is coming when NO ONE will be able to do the works of God successfully. By sheer implication, the Saints of God will need to be here on the earth during this period otherwise the comment if moot. If there is no to do the work in the timeframe to which Jesus speaks, as in zero Christians on the planet, then Jesus’ comment would simply be useless. The phrase, “The night comes when no one can work” would be irrelevant; so why say it?
IN a passage found in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8 Paul admonishes us to not get prematurely stressed out or alarmed over the coming of the End of Days; rather, the signs of the times (Prophecies about this day and age) are good enough to let us know when the End-Times would be upon us… THEN
Paul tells us what is holding up the coming of that AGE and its incredible events:
Paul writes,
You see, that day, the day when the Wicked One (the Beast) is revealed is ALSO the day when the Great Tribulation of the Great Consummation will begin.
Thus, Jesus is taken out of the way and the “Night when no one can work” has begun…
Because, the Light of the world has been taken out of the way.
Remember, Jesus said,
“As long as it is day (day-light) I (Jesus) must do the works of HIM who sent me.
The Night (time of darkness) comes when no one can work.
As long as I am (Jesus) in the world, I am (Jesus) the light of the world.” (John 9:4-5)
When the night comes – The Beast will be revealed and the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation will have begun.
