Know the truth because the truth prepares you for knowing and trusting the Lord and His Word.
Keep in mind, the chronology before you relates specifically to the timeline for the Second Half of Christ’s Covenant called the Great Consummation. The Great Consummation is the fulfillment of all visions and prophecies relating to the Curses or Judgment half of God’s covenant with humanity.
Revelation Chapter 16
Chapter 16 begins nearly one year after the Day of the Lord has begun with the opening of the seven bowls of wrath. As mentioned earlier in Revelation 14 and 15, the angels of the seven plagues will dole out their ghastly curses nearer the end of the Time of the Gentiles but after the Battle of Armageddon has begun. The angelic host will intentionally spread their deadly payloads over the young and old, rich and poor, wicked and infantile. Though exceedingly harsh, the final days of God’s Wrath will deliver a just punishment upon the Whore of Babylon, who fully deserves the entirety of her punishments and judgment. If there is a redeeming mercy in God’s judgment, it would be the fact the plagues are delivered over the course of just a single day. The seven bowls of wrath will deliver devastating plagues and destruction designed to thoroughly chastise the Great Whore and bring God’s Wrath to its conclusion.[1] In this way, the Wrath of God will come to its fiery conclusion during the Battle of Armageddon as the seven plagues bring the final yet turbulent days of God’s judgment to an end. Okay, we’re closing in on the last few chapters of Revelation.
In the “Chronology of Revelation 9” we’ll be exploring Revelation chapter 15, a rather short blog compared to the previous eight relating to Revelation’s chronology.
One of the more interesting aspects of chapter 15, leastwise to me, is the specific declaration in verse 15:1 which states, “Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.”
I remember waking up one morning as I neared the end of writing “This Side of the Whirlwind” and wondering about the duration of God’s Wrath. So far, the Lord had not shown me anything specifying how long God’s Wrath would actually last?
I knew the Judgment portion of the Great Consummation was set for one year based on several areas in God’s Word, i.e. “…The day of the LORD’s vengeance, The year of Recompense…” (Isaiah 34:8 NKJV and Jeremiah 23:12) and several other related sections of scripture such as Isaiah 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.
However, if the “Day of the Lord” spanned one-thousand years (2 Peter 3:1-13) and the “Wrath of God” or the Days of Vengeance took place during the Day of the Lord (Isaiah 13:6-13) surely the Lord had set a limit “scripturally speaking” on how long the Wrath of God should or would last?
So, as I took up my pen that day, and began praying for the the Lord’s hand in writing the book, the Lord directed me to Revelation 15 thereby providing a direct answer to a direct question (how long would the Wrath of God last?). Thanks Lord! Continue reading →
Verses 1 through 5 are taking place here on earth as Jesus returns from the Marriage Supper of the Lamb with the Body of Christ. During or shortly after Christ’s arrival, Jesus will assume the throne of David as both the Messiah and King of kings. The circumstances reflected within verses 1 through 5 take place near the end of the Great Consummation. The 144,000 Elect have been ministering to the nation of Israel during the entire one-year period of God’s Wrath.
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads” (Revelation 14:1 KJV).
The events surrounding verse 1 parallel events in Joel 3:11b: “Bring down your warriors, O Lord!” The warriors mentioned in Joel are the Body of Christ returning from the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: and they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. (Revelation 14:2–5 KJV) Continue reading →

Today we enter “The Land of the Giants!”
Revelation Chapter 12
Revelation 12 contains sections of scripture reflecting both halves of the seventieth week of the Seventy Weeks of Daniel. Similar to the split-versing found in Daniel 9:26 and 27, the chapter splits both halves of the seventieth week within its verses. Verses one through six convey the first three and a half years of the covenant as established in the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Time of the Gentiles is covered between verses 7 and 12, followed by verses 13 through 17, which communicate the second three and a half years of the covenant covering the Great Consummation. Collectively the three sections encompass all seven years of the covenant of Jesus Christ. Chapter 12 articulates both the blessings and curses segments of Christ’s covenant while also communicating the covenant’s continuity. Continue reading →
Remember to open your Bibles for the chronology blogs. 🙂
The Great Consummation timeline consists of a 3½ year countdown. When a chapter indicates it is returning to the beginning of the Great Consummation timeline it represents that day when the Great Consummation started. Generally speaking this is approximately 30 days after the Beast also known as the Anti-Christ is revealed for who he really is by placing the Abomination of Desolation or his image in the Temple in Jerusalem.
A lot must happen between now and then but prophetic things can happen quickly so hold on and watch those skid-marks. 🙂
Keep in mind this section was written several years ago and only came to print in April of 2016.

Revelation Chapter 11
11:1–2
With the measuring of the temple in Jerusalem, the time line for John’s vision returns to the beginning of the Great Consummation. The gentiles are to trample the holy city underfoot for forty-two months or, conspicuously, three and a half years. Continue reading →

Now remember, though you can do it… the chronology before you is not specifically intended for gentle reading; rather, the “Chronology of Revelation” is set forth as a study tool to explain the relationships between individual and specific chapters and verses as they relate to the time line of the Latter Days detailing how each chapter or section in Revelation corresponds to the three and a half years of the Great Consummation. Bear in mind, the Great Tribulation doctrines have been proven utterly in error starting with the seven years of Tribulation which is a woeful misinterpretation.
Have fun!

Revelation Chapter 10
Chapter 10
The revelation John the apostle receives in chapter 10 reflects a distant future and takes place while John is a prisoner on the isle of Patmos. John is in a heavenly realm as he sees a revelation far beyond his own natural time or location. John experiences a vision or event similar to, if not exactly like, the one Daniel experienced in Daniel 12. The angel clothed in linen from Daniel’s vision appears to be the same angel clothed with a cloud in John’s vision. Continue reading →

Most often when Believers think of being in the center of “God’s will” we think of a picturesque and ideal scenario playing out with God using us to preach the gospel, minister in Christian music, feed the hungry, comfort the sick or any number of other ministry related endeavors.
But the question is…
Is that all there is to being in “God’s will”?
For individuals to reside in the middle of “God’s will” does not always mean we are moving in ministry, or a loving family life or even a singular walk with God. Continue reading →
