Taking the Bullet
If gunmen placed you in the following position, “Deny Christ or be shot in the head,” what would you do, deny Christ or take the bullet?
This is a general question and not subject to the 9,000 possible variations on this theme.
And therefore, because you know yourself to a degree, where do you believe you would stand in your faith?
Is your relationship with Jesus; God; your Savior tantamount to your next breath or are you merely part of a social-club for lukewarm or pseudo-Christians?
You see, “every” Christian will soon be forced to answer this or a similar decision.
We are all living in the last of the Latter Days. The Mark of the Beast is here and each government will soon, whether it be days, months, a year or five from now, each of us will be required to decide if we will submit to this new, up and coming, technology.
You may ask, “How can I write such a statement with any credibility?”
In answer, because numerous “unadulterated” prophecies have been, HAVE BEEN, fulfilled over the past 70 years which confirm we are in the Latter Days. Five prophecies in particular can be easily found in Scripture to confirm this point. Let’s start near the beginning.
#1) Deuteronomy chapters 30 and 31:
When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations, 2 and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, 3 then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back. 5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors. 6 The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. (Deuteronomy 30:1-6 NIV ~ Written circa BC 1451)
For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. (Deuteronomy 31: 29 KJV ~ Written circa BC 1451 ~ emphasis added)
Then in Jeremiah we have three areas of text starting with #2) Jeremiah 16:14-16:
“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that it shall no more be said, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ 15 but, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.
16 “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says the LORD, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
And this was and is one of the many ways God returned the Jewish people to the lands of Israel. The new Sovereign State of Israel sent representatives from the Israeli people to gather Jewish families from all over the world. They hunted and fished for each family providing each family sums of money, housing and often business opportunities for making the transition to the lands of Israel as long as the families committed to ‘make of go of it’ for a minimum of three years.
Then there is #3) Jeremiah 23:7-8 followed by verse 20. I’ve skipped verses because I do not have room to add every verse, such would balloon this post to astronomical size. Please read the balance of the verses for your own edification.
7 “Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ [This is how the world saw Israel before the Holocaust of WWII] 8 but, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.” [Following WWII Israel became known for their deliverance out of the hands of the Nazis] (NKJV ~ Emphasis added)
Then of course there is #4) Jeremiah chapter 30 which details “Jacob’s Trouble” which is simply another name for the Holocaust of WWII. The entirety of Jacob’s Trouble actually spanned a much larger period than the few years of WWII itself, for example ~ 1910-1967; however, the Holocaust of WWII was the piece-de-resistance of Jacob’s Trouble with one possible exception: the lands of Israel being returned to the Israeli people after nearly 1800 years in exile {Israel returned to the Promised Lands, with their religion intact and their original identity as the Israeli people firmly established}. Now if that is not a punctuation point for these prophecies then I don’t know what else would be? Wow!
Another Prophecy
For behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the LORD. ‘And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’ ”
4 Now these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
Jacob’s Trouble
5 “For thus says the LORD:‘We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. 6 Ask now, and see, whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor, and all faces turned pale?
7 Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he [Israel] shall be saved out of it.
8 ‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’ Says the LORD of hosts, ‘That I will break his yoke [bondage] from your neck, and will burst your bonds; foreigners shall no more enslave them.
Here we will jump to verses 22-23
22 ‘You shall be My people, and I will be your God.’ ”
23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the LORD will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it.
And yet we have another prophecy.
There is another passage in Hosea which is descriptive of Israel’s state of being over much of the past 2,000 years and then their final restoration as a people.
For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. 5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days. (Hosea 3:4-5 NKJV)
The fulfillment of the last two edicts from Daniel 9:24 (To seal up the vision and prophecy & To anoint the Most Holy) will take place at the end of the Great Consummation, which just so happens to coincide with the end of the Time of the Gentiles or Church Age. Pretty cool, huh?
So, “How can I write such a statement with any real credibility?”
How can you not? In a court of law we only need one or two solid witnesses to put someone away for murder; I just provided five ‘utterly’ fulfilled prophecies which confirm we, the Body of Christ, are living in “The Latter Days.”
By the way, the Latter Days can prophetically only span 80 or less years (Psalms 90:10 and the Parable of the Fig Tree). We’ll get into that one some other time.
Better start preparing for the Separation process of the Great Consummation followed by Christ’s return during the Tribulation Period FOLLOWED by the Wrath of God. It is coming!
