Prelude

I have to say I find the Seventy Weeks of Daniel prophecy the most significant and amazing prophecy ever written. The Seventy Weeks of Daniel (Dan. 9:24-27) prophecy which includes several perfectly timed elements spanning nearly 3,000 years of stopping and starting on a specific timetable. Wow! bible-prophecy What an prophecy. I hope you have enjoyed and continue to enjoy this one element of the prophecy. The “He Shall Confirm a Covenant” series has been a joy to convey.

God bless you as you take a spin through this small piece of incredible prognostication which unfolds through the power of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection to fulfill the first half of Jesus’ Covenant now known “The Acceptable Year of the Lord” and conveyed in The New Testament.

Like I said, wow!  Okay, ready for some MEAT in the Word? Go and get it!

He Shall Confirm a Covenant? 4

The subject material for the End Times is massive, requiring an impressive number of Bible verses simply to effectively cover the main topics. Regardless of the number of verses devoted to the subject, Daniel 9:24–27 will certainly stand as a cornerstone to the subject and is one of the most likely to be misinterpreted. It is from this section the name the Great Consummation is derived, along with its duration and notification of the coming Messiah and His new covenant. As previously mentioned, God intentionally concealed much of the End Times information, holding fast to revelation until the time of the end. The concealment resulted in a high misinterpretation ratio for Daniel 9:24–27. For this reason, the Seventy Weeks of Daniel must be handled with great care. Be advised, misconstruing Daniel 9:24–27 is comparable to a topographer calculating a bearing using east instead of west and then wondering why people become disoriented. At the very least, the topographer will send his or her reader in the opposite or wrong direction. The most common mistake made with Daniel 9:27 is to incorrectly identify the person of the prince in verse 26 and then apply this error to the pronoun he in verse 27. The answer to “he” is paramount to discovering the true purpose of and for the overall prophecy. Because the Seventy Weeks of Daniel must be covered meticulously and the four verses contain volumes of previously hidden information, it is necessary for these four verses to be repeated frequently. The obvious advantage is readers will become incredibly familiar with the four primary verses and eventually learn the meaning behind the Seventy Weeks of Daniel prophecy.7-seals

Ready for the Meat of the Word? Then dig in!

The follow text will be slightly more studious than most of my blogs but I trust you will enjoy the erudition none the less. Additional excerpts have been taken from “This Side of the Whirlwind” chapter 7 to create this blog.

Daniel’s People of the Prince

A major though common mistake made by many End Times educators is the idea Daniel’s “people of the prince” from Daniel 9:26 are non-Christians. During countless End Times conversations, most, if not all, supporters on the subject claim “the people of the prince” are followers of the Beast. On first blush it would likely be assumed the people of the prince, if not followers of the Beast, might be Hebrews following their Messiah; however, the verse and section in question is a prophetic-one which relates specifically to the distant future after the first half of the Covenant (Jesus’ ministry) has been fulfilled. Therefore, the “people of the prince” are followers in this prophesied far-flung future.

The New Testament

If the people of the prince in fact oppose Christians and Christian organizations, then it stands to reason the prince, by default, would be the Beast. This mistaken assumption has stood far too long and could not be further from the truth. The identity of the prince is extremely important. Additional evidence supporting the prince’s identity as Jesus, the Christ, will be presented immediately. The fact the pronoun “he” in verse 27 is coupled with the noun “prince” in verses 25 and 26 is virtually unassailable. This one pronoun is likely the most seriously misinterpreted End Times element of the entire Latter Days message, and has led many astray. Continue reading →

I know we have covered Split Versing on one or more other occasions; however, the subject is significantly pertinent to the accurate interpretation of End Times prophecy. So, here is a little refresher:

(Paraphrased Excerpts taken from “This Side of the Whirlwind) Chapter 7, pages 72-75

TSWW BK Cover

The Theory of Split-Versing

Take a moment to consider an interesting mechanism within scripture which I call “split-versing.” God purposed certain sections of scripture to reference more than one time period within the same verse or section of text. God provided this revelation at nearly the same time He also revealed certain hidden (Daniel 12:4-11) aspects of the Seventy Weeks of Daniel prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27). Split-versing is necessary to fully understand this and several other prophecies. When God first revealed this information, He used Isaiah 61:1–2 to demonstrate the split-versing concept. He used this section of scripture because verse 2 relates specifically to both the ministry of Jesus Christ and the Great Consummation of the Latter Days. In essence, as with this verse, a split verse is any verse or group of verses whose fulfillment requires two or more completely different segments in time. Luke 4:16–30 relates the story of Jesus being baptized and then anointed. Continue reading →

He Shall Confirm a Covenant?

(An Excerpt from "This Side of the Whirlwind)
Chapter 7, pages 69-72

A New Covenant

7-seals

One of the more interesting revelations of the Latter Days message is the Great Consummation. The Great Consummation is the last half of the seventieth week of the Latter Days. During the course of this study, it will be conclusively established that the five primary modern doctrines of the Great Tribulation concept—pre-, mid-, and post-tribulation rapture doctrines; A-Millennialism; and Preterism—each contain terminal errors. Individually, each of these teachings has its major flaws, such as:

  • the Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation,
  • which will then span seven years.
  • The seven-year time frame is taken from Daniel 9:27, where the verse refers to a seven-year covenant divided into two three-and-a-half-year segments.
  • This seven-year period is the seventieth week of the Seventy Weeks of Daniel prophecy.

Most often, teachers mistakenly refer to this period as the Great Tribulation. This book, “This Side of the Whirlwind” uses the term the Great Consummation rather than the Great Tribulation for one simple reason: the name (Great Tribulation) does not fit.

The Great Consummation is made up of two elements, the Tribulation Period and the Wrath of God, which is not simply semantics. There is a dire need to correct the mistaken title (the Great Tribulation) and its concepts.

Truly, millions of Christian souls may hang in the balance because of this colossal misnomer. Therefore, to correct this error, let us begin by covering what the words Great Consummation mean in the context of this our book:

The word consummation means to bring something and all its related parts to a satisfying and completely full and final conclusion. To achieve this goal, the Great Consummation will: Continue reading →

Run Locust Run

Just today I read another article promoting the idea one of the Trumpets of Judgment were simply a metaphor and not to be taken literal. Why? Why must we always reduce everything spiritual to the mundane things of our world? God sends angels; I know, I’ve seen one and you can’t explain away an angel once you’re seen the “Real McCoy.” When God says He will send locust to torment humanity people immediately run to mechanical beasts or simple metaphors.  Here, check out this article written by Prophecy News Watch:

Did the Lord not tell John the Apostle He would send strange creatures shaped like locust? I understand the potential for a metaphor; however, the description of the entire event is rather specific.  Let’s check out this scripture:

Then the fifth angel sounded: Continue reading →

Oh Great Love

(I stumbled across this document in my PC and was blessed by the work. When I looked to see who had authored the piece I was surprised to learn it was I. Thank You, Lord. It blessed me so much I decided to “play it again Sam.” Though I have made a couple changes, the piece is much the same as the original.  Hope it blesses you as much as it did me. God is so good!)

What a great and magnificent love has come our way.

az-sky

The pervading darkness could not withstand His boundless and immense desire to know us.

The emptiness of the wondrous void was not enough to prevent His love.

The effort to create an entire universe was insufficient to deter His all-encompassing passion to share His affections with us, humanity – His creation.

So determined was He for our wellbeing that He created and brought forth a healthy balance for our existence and harnessed every element for billions of lightyears in every direction just so He could create light and divide the darkness and meet our every need.

Space

He established and bound gravity to His will that it should meet universal requirements and then formed the stars and planets and moons and nebulae in all the universe just so He could bring all matter under His authority and subjection specifically to serve His desire in birthing and bringing forth His Children into this, His magnificent universe.

In order to fully establish our universe, our Creator set laws in motion to govern the molecules, to pour forth the waters to bring about the rains and spew the magma from the bowels of our planet and thus yield the earth’s cycle of life and death – happiness and sorrow – good and evil – beginning and end that we might be shaped and formed into the very individuals which would one day be called the Children of the Living God.

And this is why we’re here, to become sons and daughters of the Great, Mighty and Living God!

All I Am is Yours

Then this Mighty God of great and enduring love sent men and women to establish a written Word so we might know Him and be able to love Him without end.

If this were not enough, He then brought forth a Son created from His own essence[1] so that He, His Son, might give His life to transform us into literal sons and daughters of God.

The Empty CrossWhat a great and magnificent love has come our way!

As Romans 8:35-39 tells us (paraphrased):

Who can separate us from the love of this wonderful God, Christ our Savior?

Neither tribulation nor distress nor persecution nor famine; nakedness or peril and certainly not any threat to life can separate us from the love of our God.

We are more than conquerors and overcomers through Christ who loves us so much He died that we might live.angel

And we know – that’s right, WE KNOW…

That neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, and not even great height or depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of our God which is found in the blessed expression and existence of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Then I say, let neither the “Beast” nor his “Image” nor his “Mark” come between us and that great love! Let not our salvation be stripped from us by our own folly or physical need.  Let us love our God in great return to His investment: the death of His Son for our sin.

God’s Word deliberately warns against receiving the Mark of the Beast, bowing before the Beast or his image. Damnation comes with the storm of the Great Consummation.

cropped-tsww5.png

Therefore, let us fully embrace the season to which we were born, for we are the generation of the Latter Days. Still yourselves, for we are the offspring which must enter and endure the separation period[2] produced during the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation.  Thankfully, we are not however required to enter into God’s time of wrath. To Him be the glory, honor, power and praise both now and forever, in Jesus Holy name, amen!

Thank You, Lord!

To Him be the glory, honor, power and praise both now and forever, in Jesus Holy name, amen!

[1] Philippians 2:6-11

[2] Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

It has Come

The Mark, a biologically embeddable implant containing near-field communication technologies (NFC)[1], will provide a variety of personal functions, including but not limited to mobile banking, individual identification, GPS tracking, and access to all personal financial and medical information. Though the Mark may openly offer consumers a variety of worthwhile applications, its primary function will be to covertly provide governments with a severe level of control over all individuals and their finances. Those who do not possess the Mark will be ruthlessly limited in their ability to manage finances of any kind. When governments the world over convert from cash to cashless financial systems, retailers, wholesalers, department stores, chain food outlets, and warehouses of all shapes and sizes will be forced to accept the Mark of the Beast and only the Mark for all transactions. Businesses will require every employee to possess the Mark so they may meet government requisites, such as taxation and payroll. Employers will require employees to possess the Mark so they can be payroll compliant, managing taxation and the matching payments for Social Security and other types of insurance or installments. All banking will require customers to have the new technology for bank accounts and processing of all checks and credit and debit cards. A person will not be able to purchase anything, including a mortgage or food/health products without the new technology, the Mark. Continue reading →

When Christ Comes

Imagine if you will, that you are walking through a parking lot this afternoon; you cross the street into a busy crowd where people are hustling to the city’s pace and going about their own personal business. Then suddenly – everything around you turns dark, pitch-black—no sun, no moon no stars, just darkness. After a few moments emergency lighting kicks on, bathing you and those around you in the dim glow of flashing lights.  In the streets, headlights from passing cars kick-on as a few excited motorists regain control of their vehicles.  Nearby, someone comments on the dim flashing emergency lighting with a touch of concern. Parking lot globes begin to wink on as city streetlights spring to life. Like those around you, you are simply standing and observing what just happened and wondering what is going on; waiting, speculating. What is going to happen next? A few moments later, you happen to notice the blank expressions on the faces of those around you; mostly, they seem to be sharing that little spark of fear you experienced and seem to still be experiencing at this very moment. What could be going on? It is only two o’clock in the afternoon, why is it so dark? Then you notice the sky, there are no stars, you can’t even see the moon or clouds, just an endless starless dark pervasive stillness.

Suddenly, an eruption of sound teems from every direction as trumpets simultaneously shatter the silence, deafening with a universally ear-splitting barrage on the senses. Just as suddenly, the darkness is split by an utterly radiant, blinding light. The earth itself trembles and shakes from the intensity, gently at first, but within moments the ground heaves violently beneath and drives you to your knees. Most find themselves sprawled out over the ground. An odd hum begins to reverberate through the air when you then notice several people nearby vanish with a shower of dust. They are no longer lying on the ground where they only moments before were sprawled. The gentleman who was standing beside you is now gone, vanished into a burst of earth and sand! Where could he have gone? What could have happened so quickly?

Abruptly something catches your eye. Up in the skies, near the clouds you see a crowd of people floating near a bright and blinding image, a crowd of people just hovering near the clouds. How is this possible? It cannot be happening! You are terrified and yet awed at its magnificence.  This unimaginable sight you are experiencing cannot be real. Immediately you realize what is happening; you glance down at the device implanted in your right arm and begin to sob. Dear God in heaven, your pastor said God would understand your need. You were forced; there was no other choice but to take the new technology. Everyone said it was the only way to feed your family or pay the bills.

To late, you realize “now” it was not just a religious metaphor. Your brothers and sisters in Christ, those you called fanatical, backward Christians, were right and you are forever damned!

It will be one of the most difficult decisions you will ever be forced to make; do not accept any implant, marking, or device implanted or tattooed within or on your flesh that can be used or upgraded to manage finances. Regardless of what it may be called or what others may say, it is or at the very least could be The Mark of the Beast!

What will you choose?
