Oh Great Love
(I stumbled across this document in my PC and was blessed by the work. When I looked to see who had authored the piece I was surprised to learn it was I. Thank You, Lord. It blessed me so much I decided to “play it again Sam.” Though I have made a couple changes, the piece is much the same as the original. Hope it blesses you as much as it did me. God is so good!)
What a great and magnificent love has come our way.
The pervading darkness could not withstand His boundless and immense desire to know us.
The emptiness of the wondrous void was not enough to prevent His love.
The effort to create an entire universe was insufficient to deter His all-encompassing passion to share His affections with us, humanity – His creation.
So determined was He for our wellbeing that He created and brought forth a healthy balance for our existence and harnessed every element for billions of lightyears in every direction just so He could create light and divide the darkness and meet our every need.
He established and bound gravity to His will that it should meet universal requirements and then formed the stars and planets and moons and nebulae in all the universe just so He could bring all matter under His authority and subjection specifically to serve His desire in birthing and bringing forth His Children into this, His magnificent universe.
In order to fully establish our universe, our Creator set laws in motion to govern the molecules, to pour forth the waters to bring about the rains and spew the magma from the bowels of our planet and thus yield the earth’s cycle of life and death – happiness and sorrow – good and evil – beginning and end that we might be shaped and formed into the very individuals which would one day be called the Children of the Living God.
And this is why we’re here, to become sons and daughters of the Great, Mighty and Living God!
Then this Mighty God of great and enduring love sent men and women to establish a written Word so we might know Him and be able to love Him without end.
If this were not enough, He then brought forth a Son created from His own essence[1] so that He, His Son, might give His life to transform us into literal sons and daughters of God.
What a great and magnificent love has come our way!
As Romans 8:35-39 tells us (paraphrased):
Who can separate us from the love of this wonderful God, Christ our Savior?
Neither tribulation nor distress nor persecution nor famine; nakedness or peril and certainly not any threat to life can separate us from the love of our God.
We are more than conquerors and overcomers through Christ who loves us so much He died that we might live.
And we know – that’s right, WE KNOW…
That neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, and not even great height or depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of our God which is found in the blessed expression and existence of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
Then I say, let neither the “Beast” nor his “Image” nor his “Mark” come between us and that great love! Let not our salvation be stripped from us by our own folly or physical need. Let us love our God in great return to His investment: the death of His Son for our sin.
God’s Word deliberately warns against receiving the Mark of the Beast, bowing before the Beast or his image. Damnation comes with the storm of the Great Consummation.
Therefore, let us fully embrace the season to which we were born, for we are the generation of the Latter Days. Still yourselves, for we are the offspring which must enter and endure the separation period[2] produced during the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation. Thankfully, we are not however required to enter into God’s time of wrath. To Him be the glory, honor, power and praise both now and forever, in Jesus Holy name, amen!
Thank You, Lord!
To Him be the glory, honor, power and praise both now and forever, in Jesus Holy name, amen!
