If you are like most…

The busyness of the day BLINDs you to the FACT that we are currently living in the Beginning of Sorrows!

What’s my point?

Unlike a millennia ago, a century ago – YES – even a decade ago — the End-Times are here.
No! the Great Tribulation of the Great Consummation has not started, but the Tribulation Period is just a few steps away.

So, what does that mean to me/you?

It means… playtime is over! If you have not been letting your “Light of Christ” shine in your daily life then you are shirking your God given responsibility.

Check it out!

You are the salt of the earth;  (YOU ARE!)
but if the salt loses its flavor, (You are not doing your job.)
how shall it be seasoned?       (Are you the salt of Christ?)
It is then good for nothing – but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

You are the light of the world.   (Are you a light for Christ for others?)
A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.   (Is your Christianity in plain sight?)
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, (Are you in plain sight?)
but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. (Are you that light?)

Let your light – so – shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven
(Matthew 5:13-16).

This is about the salvation of your brothers and sisters, your mothers and fathers, your friends and neighbors.

This is not about guilt or shame; rather, this is about personal responsibility as a man or woman of God.

The END really does draw nigh.

When time is up and we are sitting at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb WHO – will not – be there because we did NOT let our little lights – so – shine before neighbors, family and friends?

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

  • “Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them:
  • ‘WHEN I (God) bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,
  • When he sees the sword coming upon the land, “IF” he blows the trumpet and warns the people,
  • THEN whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning,
  • “IF” the sword comes and takes him away, his blood (that guys blood) shall be upon his own head. (He is responsible)
  • He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning!
  • His blood is upon himself.
  • BUT, he who takes warning will save his life.
  • But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet,
  • AND the people are not warned,
  • AND the sword comes and takes ANY person from among them,
  • HE (that person) is taken away in their-own iniquity (sin);
  • BUT his blood (that person’s blood) – I (God) will require (his blood) at the watchman’s hand.’ (Ezekiel 33:1-6 emphasis added)

Now, that does not apply exactly as it did during Ezekiel’s day;

However, the principle is similar.

Just a few thoughts.

Think about it. 😊
