Christians in the Great Consummation

One of the most pervasive questions on the lips of nearly every believer is whether or not Christians will be required to endure what most call the Great Tribulation.

There is of course, only one correct answer to that potentially scary question and the answer is a resounding !YES!

Christians WILL live through the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation.

  • Why?

Because the Great Tribulation is not the Wrath of God.

Christians will continue to live on earth during the Great Consummation because the Great Tribulation IS NOT the Wrath of God.

The Great Tribulation is a separation period designed to fulfill the parable and prophecy from Matthew 13:24-30 regarding the Wheat and the Tares.

Those Christians who live long enough to witness and be part of the Rapture will have to stand firm in their faith for two and a half long years.

  • Why, you might ask?

Because the Tribulation Period is designed to separate the Wheat from the Tares, the faithful Christians from those who take the Mark of the Beast and throw away their salvation and relationship with Jesus.

Remember, when the Great Tribulation begins it is a prophecy in the midst of its fulfillment (Matthew 13:24-30).  Christians will either be the Wheat (faithful Matthew 24:13) or the Tares (Lukewarm who fail to endure to the end [Matthew 10:22; 24:13 and Mark 13:13).

While some believers robustly declare Christians will not, even cannot, be here on earth during this tumultuous time known as the Great Tribulation – Scripture certainly indicates the Saints will endure the Tribulation Period!  How can the Saints of God be overcome (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 11:7 & 13:7)

Bear in mind, Matthew 24:29-31 specifies the Body of Christ will be raptured immediately after the tribulation has taken place.

The Pre-Trib or Great Tribulation Rapture LIE, truly Christendom’s most accepted mis-perception, misjudges when the Wrath of God will take place and what the Wrath of God will actually constitute.

I say again, such a critical error comes from Theologians, Scholars, Pastors and Priests assuming the entire Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation will span seven years and represent God’s Wrath.  They couldn’t be more wrong!

Not really their fault, however.  God did instruct Daniel and John to conceal large portions of the End Times message UNTIL the “Time of the End” (Daniel 8:15-26; 12:4; 12:9 and Revelation 10:1-7).  The world has only come to the “Time of the End” in the last two decades.

Sadly, proponents for the Pre, Mid and Post-Tribulation theories as well as the Preterists and A-Millennial viewpoints have ignore how the Tribulation Period is a component of Christ’s Covenant with humanity.

  • The entirety spans 7 years.
  • Jesus’ ministry lasted 3½ years
  • And the Great Consummation will span a similar 3½ years for a total of 7 years (Daniel 9:27). The Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation will last 2½ years,
  • Thank You, Lord;
  • And the entire Great Consummation program representing the Second Half of Christ’s Covenant, will span the other 3½ years to fulfill the Wrath of God and complete the 7 year covenant as outlined in Daniel 9:27.

The most common reason for misinterpretations of these texts is the idea the entire seven-year period assigned for Christ’s Covenant represents the End of Days rather than a covenant split into two parts (as the prophecy indicates).

As clarified according to scripture, the two and a half years of the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation provide a separation process for extricating true Christians from Pseudo-Christians; in essence, divorcing pseudo-Christians from the grace of God when they break the Covenant or Contract between themselves and God.  A breach in contract = namely, Revelation 14:9-11.

Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.  He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.  And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Don’t confuse someone removing themselves from the hand of God from someone being stolen out of God’s hands (John 10:28-30 …no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.)

God does not force us to become ‘Saved’ and He will not force anyone to remain Saved.  The contract is sure with the Holy Spirit given as a down payment. Salvation is a Contract between God and us individually.  We accepted the contract and we can reject the covenant should we choose to breach its precepts (Hebrews 6:1-8).

  • The Tribulation Period spans 2½ years.
  • The Wrath of God will span one remaining one year as established for God’s Wrath.
  • At the end of the Tribulation Period the Body of Christ will be Raptured in accordance with scripture (1 Corinthians 15:50-57 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
  • At that time, God’s Wrath will afflict the remainder of the world’s populations, bringing judgment on all the unsaved (1 Thessalonians 1:10 and 5:9).

Zechariah 13:7–9 is better understood when viewed through the theory of split-versing[1]. Zechariah 13:7 applies to the 3½ year ministry of Jesus Christ while verses 8 and 9 apply to the 3½ year period for the Great Consummation.

Based on these few verses, two-thirds of the Body of Christ will die or be cut off (sacrificed) by the time the Day of the Lord has begun. Bear in mind, the Day of the Lord begins that infamous period known as, “The Wrath of God”.  God’s Wrath follows the Rapture.

The trials and tribulations of the Great Tribulation, of course, leaves just one-third of the God’s Saints to be gathered to Christ during the Rapture.

The Great Tribulation is the refiner’s fire, the crucible which will purge the Bride of Christ, martyring two-thirds of the saints before the end of the Tribulation Period to purge us and make us white until the time of the end (Daniel 11:29-35).

This is just a reminder… the words “cut off” found in verse 8 represent the Hebrew word karath, meaning:

    • Cut off, Karath, kaw-rath’ (H3772)—the word karath is a prime root. Though the word karath translates into the English words cut off, the Hebrew word specifically means to covenant or to cut up flesh or cut an animal into pieces in order to perform a blood sacrifice or ritual to form a covenant.

So remember, the Body of Christ must be on earth during the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation. The primary reason a Christian presence is essential during this period is because Christians are still forming or fulfilling the covenant and prophecies related to the Covenant of Jesus Christ. By the end of the Tribulation Portion of the Latter Days, the Body of Christ will have fulfilled all prophecies related to the separation process.

The Tribulation Period will require True-Christians to be separated from pseudo-Christians.

At that time, the Rapture will remove true Christians from the earth and relegate pseudo-Christians to the Wrath of God.

Once the Tribulation Period has been fulfilled, God’s Wrath will begin.

  • The Wrath of God will then fulfill its role over all the earth completing the Curses element of the Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-3).
  • Pseudo-Christians and unsaved sinners alike will suffer God’s Wrath in its fullest measure.
  • Through this process, the unsaved will become exceedingly manic about anything religiously based, with a special hatred toward anything Judeo-Christian in origin.
  • Through this anti-Christian, anti-Semitic high anxiety, the Beast will lead a globally foolhardy attempt at punishing God through the Israelites.
  • Such rashness will be the impetus for Israel’s siege and eventually the Battle of Armageddon.
  • The Two Federations (the Kingdom of the North and Kingdom of the South) will already be positioned to strike the proverbial match, which will incite current hostilities, erupting into war. These hostilities will continue throughout the world until the end of the Great Consummation and the beginning of the Battle of Armageddon.
  • Only then will Jesus return with the Body of Christ to deliver the nation of Israel, according to Deuteronomy 4:25–31 and Romans 11:25–29.
