The Decimation 9B
Great Consummation Timeline
The Great Consummation is an element within the Latter Days timeline even as the Beginning of Sorrows and Battle of Armageddon are also elements within the Latter Days. The Great Consummation is the second half of Christ’s two-part covenant (Daniel 9:27)
The Beginning of Sorrows is an element of God’s plan for the Latter Days which has likely already begun, an element which must take place before the Great Consummation can begin.
Consider these elements and then answer the conjecture above for yourself; namely, has the Beginning of Sorrows begun?
Jesus said, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:6-8 NLJV)
Have you noticed these elements taking place in abundance?
Be advised, the Mark of the Beast will need to be ready to take place at the beginning of the Great Consummation even as the Beast and False Prophet (Revelation 13:3-18) and Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:3-6) must also be ready to begin their roles when the Great Consummation begins!
The Great Consummation must follow the Beginning of Sorrows (Matthew 24:6-8); although, the Beginning of Sorrows and Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation will in all probability functionally overlap in their timelines.
The Great Tribulation will span the first 2½ years of the Great Consummation and serve to provide a crucible – a time of trouble – designed to separate True-Christians from Pseudo-Christians (troubles within this timeframe will a mandatory Mark of the Beast for all citizens) – The Pseudo-Christians are Biblically referred to as “the Lukewarm” (Revelation 3:16).
The Great Tribulation will be synonymous with the fulfillment of Matthew 13:24-30 (Separating the Wheat from the Tares).
The Resurrection and Rapture will take place at the end of the Tribulation Period or Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31). The Rapture will be a spectacular event for the entire world to witness. The phenomenon of the Rapture will reveal Jesus for who He IS (God’s Son) and dispel any counterfeit or phony christs.
The Wrath of God will begin the “Day of the Lord” even as the “Day of the Lord” begins the Wrath of God; they are one and the same. The Wrath of God will take place over a ONE year period, a nightmare on earth for everyone except the Israelites; although Israel will have its own full set of troubles, Israel will still have the hand of God’s protections (to an extent).
The Wrath of God will include the Seven Trumpets of Judgment and the Seven Bowls of Wrath which should be enough judgment for anybody. According to Revelation 15:1:
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them is fulfilled up the Wrath of God. (Revelation 15:1 KJV)
The Battle of Armageddon will likely begin right at or near the end of God’s Wrath (the end of the 3½ years of the Great Consummation). The duration for the Battle of Armageddon is not clearly specified. However, the Battle of Armageddon will end with Jesus’ returning with the Angels and the Body of Christ. Jesus will destroy the armies of the Beast and then bring an end to the “Time of the Gentiles” also known as “The Church Age”. The Church Age will come to a close with every knee bowing and every tongue confessing Jesus Christ as LORD (Isaiah 45:23 and Romans 14:11).
The Millennial Age will have begun by the end of the Great Consummation and will run uninterrupted for one-thousand years. At the end of the Millennial Reign the BEMA Seat of Judgment will take place; this is the second death for which the Body of Christ is exempt (Revelation 20:11-15).
The BEMA Seat of Judgment:
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is called the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up its dead who were in it, and Death and Hell delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
Then Death and Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death. Anyone not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire. (Revelation 20:11-15 NKJV emphasis added)
This next section is just for a little clarification in the overall timeline.
The Latter Days began either slightly before or with the reemergence of Israel as a nation in 1948. I tend to believe the Latter Days began slightly before 1948 just because of circumstance; still, I don’t know for sure.
Consider, even as cumulonimbus clouds precede and produce rainstorms so Biblical signs and wonders precede fulfillment of God’s plans; thus, before 1948 when the Israelites physically took possession over the Promised Lands of Israel… prophecies were being fulfilled which would facilitate God’s purposes.
(Here are a few amazing prophetic references to Israel’s eventual reemergence: Deuteronomy chapters 30 and 31; Isaiah 11:8-16; Jeremiah 16:14-16 and 23:1-20; Hosea 3:4-5)
If you’d like a broader explanation to the above prophecies and Israel’s reemergence as a nation at the beginning of the Latter Days… read pages 103-114 in,
“This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse.”
AS you have most likely read through some if not all of the previous 11 articles in the “Decimation Series” it can be assumed you’ve already discovered the Great Tribulation does not, cannot span 7 years.
Once again, the Great Tribulation is not God’s Wrath; rather, the Great Tribulation is merely an element in the Great Consummation’s 3½ year timeline.
- The Great Consummation IS the last 3½ year segment for the 7 year Covenant of Jesus Christ.
- Jesus’ 3½ years of ministry = Blessings half of the covenant
- The Great Consummation’s 3½ years = Judgment half of the covenant
- For a total of 7 years in which Jesus confirmed a blood covenant with many for 7 years; during the midst of that 7 years (3½ years) “He” (Jesus) caused the sacrifice and offering to cease (veil of the Temple rent in two ‘Passover’ causing all sacrifices/offering to cease).
- Second half of the Covenant: then for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even unto the Consummation, and that determined shall be poured out upon the desolate (ruined people). (Daniel 9:27)
