God’s Will Getting Done

Though it may sound rhetorical, all of God’s Word from creation to this day has been fulfilled in accordance with God’s divine purposes. All things considered, He is the Almighty and Omniscient God! Even the plans and working of the Beast and False Prophet are done according to God’s divine purpose and will.

“For God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled” (Revelation 17:17 ESV).

Individuals may believe free will allows them to work outside of God’s purposes, but that is plainly foolish thinking. If God is truly the Creator and as described within God’s Word, then working outside of God’s knowledge is impossible. God’s Word indicates He knows the beginning from the end and all things in between before they are even committed.

“Only I (God) can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish” (Isaiah 46:10, Living Bible Translation).

The Davidic Covenant Fulfilled

As mentioned in “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” at the beginning of chapter 18, the fifth edict (To finish all visions and prophecies related to the Covenant of Jesus Christ) will be fulfilled when the Battle of Armageddon has been won and Jesus has been anointed King on the throne of David.

When the Time of the Gentiles has come to its close, God will fulfill the Davidic covenant with Israel and then turn His focus from the Body of Christ back to the nation of Israel.

  • The visions and prophecies required for grafting the gentile nations into the children of God will also be complete.
  • The Deliverer and Messiah will come out of Sion (Zion) and turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
  • Jesus will have assumed His rightful and appropriate place on the throne of David before the beginning of the Millennial Reign.
  • With exceptions for the Millennial Reign and the coming of the new heaven and earth, every prophecy and promise of God will be fulfilled by the Great Consummation’s conclusion (Isaiah 55:1–13).

Even as Israel’s relationship was seen as adulterous, so Hosea was directed to take a wife of whoredom. Prophetically, the relationship between Hosea and his wife was to represent God’s relationship with His wife, Israel.

And I (Hosea) said to her, (Gomer) “You must dwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.” For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or household gods. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and they shall come in fear to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days. (Hosea 3:3–5 ESV)

The Time of the Gentiles draws to its close.  The Church Age is coming to an end.

Soon the blinding in part will be lifted and the house of Israel will truly return to their God.

Though people of Jewish lineage currently live in the land of Israel, these Israelites are not yet conformed through the love and grace of Jesus Christ their and Messiah.

In fulfillment of prophecy, the house of Israel has lived many years without their king and prince, without plying sacrifices or building pillars to their God.

A further fulfillment due is seen in Israel making headway toward reinstituting the temple along with appropriate rites and sacrifices.  The “Trump” Train is one example taking place today.

Such efforts in prophetic fulfillment will even while the Israelites are blinded from Christ’s true office and nature. Once the blinding in part has accomplished it purpose and been lifted by God – the truth of who Jesus really is will reign free followed by Israel ceasing to follow mere shadows of faith. Once achieved, the Israelites will worship the Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and truth, according to scripture.[1]

The Two Witnesses,[2] followed by the 144,000 Elect,[3] will bring the gospel message to the house and lands of Israel during the Great Consummation, returning Israel to the Lord their God as Israel comes to recognize Jesus as their the Messiah.

At the end of the Time of the Gentiles or Church Age, Jesus and the Body of Christ will return from the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, joining the 144,000 Elect on the Mount of Olives just before the Battle of Armageddon is concluded.

When Armageddon is over the Israelites will anoint Jesus as Israel’s King with the entire nation of Israel, Body of Christ, and 144,000 Elect bowing before their God, King and Messiah!

The coronation of Christ will begin the fulfillment of the Davidic covenant and completion of the sixth edict, which is the anointing of the Most Holy.

Jesus, the Messiah, will then assume the throne of David.  This concept is supported in Scripture:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (Isaiah 9:6–7 KJV)

The Davidic Covenant

Here are scriptures related to the Davidic covenant:

The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you (Israel) when your days are over, and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be His Father, and He will be My Son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men. But My love will never be taken away from Him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before You. And Your house and Your kingdom will endure forever before me: Your throne will be established forever. (2 Samuel 7:11–16 ESV)

Bear in mind, the Body of Christ will also reign and rule with the Son of God:

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of these who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.  And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

If you’re wondering who we will reign over – consider this:

Once the Battle of Armageddon is over there will be millions if not billions of people still at home in their nations… for it was their military forces which stood against God at the Battle of Armageddon; as always, there are civilian populations still at home.  These are they whom we will reign and rule over during the Millennial Reign.

Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations.  And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.  He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God (Revelation 19:15 NKJV).

Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.

There is so much more going on in our world at this time.

God’s plans for the Body of Christ and the world are falling into place to begin the Great Consummation.

Still, we can trust the Lord to take care of us; however, we must still endure to the End of the Great Tribulation.

We are living during the AGE when God is finishing the Covenant of Jesus Christ.

This will be tough, but what a privilege.

It’s been time to prepare for the end draws nigh!
