Would You Go?

Partial excerpt from “This Side of the Whirlwind, the Coming Apocalypse” Chapter 17, pages 315-316.

For centuries, Christian groups have gathered on mountaintops or in secluded forests to wait for what they believed was the imminent return of Christ only to return home in failure.

Almost certainly each of these individuals returned feeling betrayed, embarrassed, or possibly disenchanted after having failed to meet the Almighty in the sky. It is unnecessary and unfortunate for these faithful servants of God to feel shame for obeying their God. Consider how rare the Christian who would be obedient to such a call must be. Such obedience demands applause and not regret or shame.

In each instance, the lack of Christ’s return neither confirmed nor denied God’s involvement as the author of such commandments. God’s ways are beyond our comprehension.[1] Today, believers and secular alike mock the return of Christ. Such skepticism as found in 2 Peter 3:1–4 is a prophetic fulfillment.[2] As Christians continue to spout their unjustified doubts and faithless unbelief, they are fulfilling Peter’s prophetic words:

Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), That you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Savior: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Peter 3:1–4 NKJV emphasis added)

Think about it…  Would you go if called to that mountaintop?

Though many would say, “yes,” the reality is most are just talking out their hats.

In truth, you and every other Christian you know will SOON have that chance!

When the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation begins we Christians will be forced to leave homes, cities, civilization as we know it and flee into the wild places in our nations.

Whether you live in the United States of America, Ireland, India, Japan, China, Canada, Brazil, in the Sudan, Botswana, Russia, Germany, Australia, Poland, Peru, Mexico, Greenland, Iceland, the United Kingdom… Getting the point?

It matters not where you live today.

Soon, every Christian will be forced to choose: receive the Mark of the Beast or bow before the Beast and or his image OR flee.

READ IT AND PREPARE! (Matthew 24:14-22)

There are enough prophecies already fulfilled so that we can know Jesus is returning “immediately AFTER the Tribulation of those days!” (Matthew 24:29-31)

Well, God bless and have a great day — BUT — prepare for we are living in the Beginning of Sorrows and the Great Consummation is just around the corner.
