A great big “This Side of the Whirlwind” howdy from Tucson, Arizona: the land of the rising and setting sun.
Beautiful sun rises and gorgeous sunsets, oh-yeah!
This Side of the Whirlwind would like for you to understand a little bit about the origins of our book, learning how its message was developed through the gifts of the Holy Spirit via divine revelation. For over ten years, 2006-2016, the Lord brought the Great Consummation message to Mr. Harrel through Words of Knowledge, prophecies and visions.
Ten years of joyful yet sorrowful – happy though heart-stopping – soul wrenching and yet fascinating mind throbbing revelations. Mr. Harrel received revelations which had not previously been made available to the Body of Christ since the time of Daniel; revelations which no Theologian or Scholar had previously received prior to 2006.
So you can get a small picture of who this person is whom God tasked with bringing this message of the Last Days, here are a few of Mr. Harrel’s more important credentials:
Twelve months before Mr. Harrel took his first breath the Lord sent a divine messenger to his somewhat-Christian parent’s home in Stuttgart Germany. Standing outside the front of their home this Christian stranger prophesied Steven’s birth, telling Steven’s mother-to-be, Patricia, she would conceive in the next few months and bear a son just one year later. This woman also prophesied their son would become a man of God.
Sure enough, twelve months later Steven was born as the woman had prophesied and many years late became a man of God.
14 months after his birth, Mr. Harrel’s – somewhat – Christian parents were confronted by yet another Christian with a divine pronouncement. After placing his hand on Steven’s forehead another stranger, a gentleman, declared “This child will be a Man of God.” Mr. Harrel’s parents said they did not know what to make of these two strange experiences and later stated they had not met either of these two messengers before or since those fateful days.
Now, eight years passed before Mr. Harrel, age 9, experienced his first divine encounter. His first profound meeting took place while Steven was at summer-camp in 1968, where according to Mr. Harrel he was simply walking by himself through the forests not far from camp in the forests of Show Low, Arizona. As he entered a clearing Mr. Harrel described the sudden appearance of an Angel in the skies overhead. Mr. Harrel describes the angel as one whose body was fashioned by the clouds but whose face appeared even as the radiant face, a man/angel whose face was looking directly at Steven.
In a flash, when their eyes met, Mr. Harrel said he was suddenly and completely filled with the Holy Spirit and began to hear God’s voice immediately. Though the angel said nothing, from that day forward Steven began to hear God’s voice and experience visions and Words of Knowledge. In the 49 years since his encounter with the angel Mr. Harrel has prophesied well over one-hundred times with near 100% accuracy. Thank you, Lord.
To date, Mr. Harrel has received and shared more than one-hundred prophecies, visions and or Words of Knowledge with near one-hundred percent accuracy which is a requisite for anyone claiming to speak in the name of the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:18-22; 2 Corinthians 13:1)
A few years later as Steven, now 12 years old, was leaving his family church in Phoenix, Arizona the Lord spoke once again into his heart and mind. The Lord asked him, “Why was Jesus’ ministry only 3½ years?” Little Steven had no idea; however, from that day forward he began asking pastors, scholars and on a few occasions theologians if they knew the answer to God’s simple question. Whether fortunately or unfortunately, an answer for which I I’m not sure, it was not until the Lord began providing the revelations for “This Side of the Whirlwind” that Mr. Harrel finally became aware of the correct answer.
It is now many years later, 1998 and the Lord instructed Mr. Harrel to stop reading any literature related to the subject of the End-Times or Great Tribulation. The admonition also included a mandate to avoid the News in all media formats until the Lord told him otherwise. In obedience, Mr. Harrel refrained from reading or watching any News until the Lord released him near the beginning of writing the book, “This Side of the Whirlwind”.
As one friend of Mr. Harrel put it, “I guess the Lord wanted to isolate you from current events so you wouldn’t make personal judgments on what the Lord was going to show you prophetically?”
Eight years later, 2006, Mr. Harrel is sent “by the Lord” to a Pastor’s conference in Phoenix, Arizona where he was told he will receive a Word of Knowledge from the Lord. True to His Word, approximately one hour after arriving at the conference, the Lord spoke to Mr. Harrel and simply said, “Habakkuk 2:3 in the NIV.”
Then, approximately one week later, Mr. Harrel is confronted in his recording studio by a longtime friend who is declaring she has a “Word” from the Lord for him; a Word given to her just that morning during her devotionals.
His friend, Joni, then turned in her NIV Bible and quoted Habakkuk 2:2-3 which states:
2) Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
3) For “The Revelation” awaits an appointed time;
(The End Times or Great Consummation message.)
It speaks of the end (Speaks of the End of Days)
and will not prove false. (Will not be proven in error)
Though it linger, wait for it; (Even if it takes a while, wait to receive the Lord’s message.)
For it will certainly come and will not delay.
Mr. Harrel’s friend then turned in her NIV Bible and read from Joel 2:28-32 which relates to the blood-moons, and the sun, moon and stars becoming darkened and the coming of the great and dreadful days of the Lord. Each of these elements relates to the End of Days as mentioned in the books of Daniel and Revelation.
According to Mr. Harrel’s testimony he told his friend he thought he understood the Word of Knowledge from Habakkuk 2:2-3; however, he said he had no idea how an End-Times passage from God’s Word could apply to his life. Well, he soon found out!
Three months later, in the summer of 2006, the Lord spoke to Mr. Harrel and instructed him to write a book on the End-Times and the rest is almost history. Almost history except for the fact the book is filled with prophetic information much of which has already begun to come to pass.
At any rate, these are the beginnings for the book, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse.”
Now is time for you to decide whether or not to believe God imparted another divine chapter in His plan for humanity to another man of God.
Bear in mind, “This Side of the Whirlwind” isn’t truly the final chapter, merely a season before the final chapter. The Great Consummation takes place 3½ years before the end of the Church Age or as the Bible like to title it, the end of “The Time of the Gentiles”.
The Great Consummation must begin according to prophecy less than 80 years before Christ returns.
Mister Harrel would like for you and everyone else to challenge every word he has written. Attempt to prove even one element or area within the message somehow in error!
He doubts you or anyone else will be able to achieve this goal. Can be done?
Not likely! Why, because God imparted this information to Mr. Harrel saying “it shall not prove false!”
So, good luck even as the Lord blesses you and your family in this great attempt!
