The New Heaven and New Earth
To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:17–19 KJV)
The dirt of the earth has been cursed because of the actions of Adam. For this reason, when the Millennium is over the earth and all its contents will be consumed by fire in order to purge man’s curse from the planet (Revelation 22:3). Once the curse has been removed from the earth, God the Father will cause a new heaven and earth to replace the old heaven and earth. The new heaven and earth will not possess curses. Rather, God’s blessing and goodness will flow throughout the new world and we will be utterly blessed.
You who are now come unto Mount Sion, and to the City of the Living God, to Heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels in joyful assembly and to the General Assembly of the Church of the Firstborn, whose names are written in heaven and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the New Covenant, and to His Blood of Sprinkling, that speaks of better things [more flawlessly] than the blood of Abel, See that you refuse not Him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him who spoke on earth, how much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him that speaks from Heaven, whose voice then shook the earth: but now He promises, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven?” (Hebrews 12:22–26 NKJV emphasis added)
When the Millennium is complete and humanity has been judged, God will create a new heaven and new earth filled with beauty, pure and pristine and fully perfect once again. A Christian’s walk with God truly matters, as does the condition of their heart as they serve their fellow man. No one will be justified without Jesus as Lord. Saying you did not know or understand will not float or be acceptable when God’s Word has been made extremely available and when judgment falls. The unsaved will receive their just reward. The Christian who takes the Mark of the Beast or bows down and worships the Beast or simply does not carry his or her own cross is equally undeserving. Only those who know Jesus as Lord will populate this new world.
Hey, I didn’t write the Laws of God, I’m just subject to them like every other human that has ever lived.
“The solid foundation of God stands, having this seal; ‘The Lord knows those who are His,’ and ‘Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity’” (2 Timothy 2:19 NKJV).
This blog is not about somehow living up to the righteousness of God; rather, it is about us living up to our own truths. We know where we stand in many of the things live in or do. We generally know when we can or cannot endure temptation.
Just be real with the Lord.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:9-10 NKJV)
Be genuine and have a blessed day!
