7 Years of Trib. Part 4
Shortly after the ascension of Jesus Christ, the nation of Israel was scattered over the face of the earth in order to fulfill prophecy (Deuteronomy 30:1–3). Israel remained in a state of exile until just before 1947. Following Jacob’s Trouble, Israel reemerged as the sovereign state of Israel. Israel’s restoration was the prophetic fulfillment of Jeremiah 16:14–15 and 23:7–8. Israel became officially recognized as a sovereign state on May 15, 1948. This miraculous accomplishment began the Latter Days, which will conclude at the end of the Great Consummation. In fact, until the Great Consummation is completed, God will not redeem the nation of Israel or deliver the chosen people from the laws of sin and death (Romans 11:25–29).
These elements must be finished before the Time of the Gentiles can be fulfilled or the blinding in part can be lifted.
Revelation 12:6 took place at the time of Christ’s ministry, thereby fulfilling the first half of the seventieth week. In effect, God did and will protect the Israelites during both halves of the seventieth week as illustrated in both verses of Revelation 12:6 and 12:14.
The aforementioned verses also allude to a wilderness location where God will protect the nation of Israel during both halves of the seventieth week. This safe dwelling place where God arranged to protect the woman is in fact the land of Israel (Isaiah 26:20–21).
“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood” (Revelation 12:15 KJV).
We know from related scripture that water frequently represents a multitude of peoples or even nations. During the Great Consummation, the secular world will pursue Christians and likewise any stray Israelites not living in Israel. The above passage relates to the gathering of the military against Israel for the Battle of Armageddon. Through his efforts, Satan hopes to carry the day and wash Israel away like a flood. When he fails, Satan’s thugs will become enraged and eventually ignite the Battle of Armageddon.
“And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth” (Revelation 12:16 KJV).
- In some fashion, God causes the earth to come to Israel’s aid. This will likely resemble the days of Korah when Korah provoked the children of Israel to rebel against Moses. At that time, God chose between Korah and Moses, causing the earth to open up and swallow Korah and his band of rebels (Numbers 16:1–35).
- Coming to Israel’s aid could also simply represent the world rendering in abundance the food and resources Israel needs at that time.
- Frankly, it could mean whatever God’s chooses for it to mean.
“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17 NKJV).
The entire seven years of covenant found in Daniel 9:27 are expressed in Revelation 12:1–17. Revelation 12:1–10 relates to the first three and a half years of the seventieth week while the second half of the chapter, Revelation 12:11–17, relates to the second three and a half years of the seventieth week.
During the second half of the seventieth week, God allows the Beast to scatter the Body of Christ as mentioned in several prophecies.
The correlation between the two time frames of three and a half years and the scattering of God’s holy people can be seen with the chart titled, “The Day of the Lord,” found on page 252 of the book, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” chapter 13 and made available to assist readers in visualizing the often complex and voluminous nature of this topic.
These two factors along with numerous other elements found on the chart and in God’s Word clearly spell out to two halves of Christ’s Covenant confirming the validity of the issues being put forward in this blog.
So, yes a prophecy was given indicating Christ’s Covenant would span seven years; however, the first half of the seven year period was used/fulfilled to bring in the Blessings half of the Covenant of Jesus Christ while the Second half of the Covenant of Jesus Christ is poised to begin at any time.
We wait for only a few prophetic signs to take place to have a real clue to the final countdown.
- When the Temple begins its reconstruction.
- When the Beast is unveiled.
- When the Mark of the Beast is mandated throughout the world.
Then the Tribulation Period of the Great Consummation will have begun.
Lord help us to remain faithful and endure to The End!
Well, this ain’t “Mystery Theater” and doesn’t have all the bells, door creaking or squeaking bats, but it should be a little scarier knowing what’s coming is real.
So let’s get prepared for, The Wallace and Ladmo Show!
Wait, that’s not it??? I had it just a moment ago.
Sooo, let’s get prepared for, “The Shadow” for the Shadow knows? Okay, that’s not it either…
Well, you know what I mean, right?
We better get it together and prepare for the days are evil and the time is short.
Israel became a nation in 1948 kicking off the Latter Days which has a time-limit of 80 or less years based on the Parable of the Fig Tree and Psalms 90:10.
So get it fixed kids, kittens and puppies too!
They could be a food source you know; just kidding! No, really I have recipes. He’s kidding, really…
Also known as the Holocaust (Jeremiah 30:1–24).
God protected the land of Israel until AD 70, after which the Jewish-Roman War scattered the Israelites over the face of the earth to fulfill God’s prophetic plans as outlined in Deuteronomy 30:1–3 and Ezekiel 34.
