A10) The Rapture begins on the Day of the Lord but before the Wrath of God begins. (Matthew 24:27-31; Luke 21:25-28; Revelation 6:12-17 or read chapter 17 of “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse”).
Q11) Is there a 2nd & 3rd Coming of Christ Jesus?
A11) There is a Second Coming of Christ commonly referred to as the Rapture when the Saints of God are gathered “TO” the skies to meet the Savior before the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. There is also a third coming commonly referred to as the 2nd Advent when Jesus returns “WITH” the Body of Christ over Jerusalem to finish the last of the second half of Christ’s Covenant. Jesus returns this third time to bring the Church Age or Time of the Gentiles to a close and then end the Battle of Armageddon. The “people of the Prince” or Body of Christ will be sent to destroy the city of Jerusalem and the sanctuary in accordance with prophecy found in Daniel 9:26. Also see page 177 of “This Side of the Whirlwind” in the section titled, “The Second Advent.”
Q12) What will constitute “The Mark of the Beast?”
A12) The Mark of the Beast will be a biologically embeddable implant containing near-field communication technologies. The tech will provide a variety of personal functions, including but not limited to mobile banking, individual identification, GPS tracking, and access to all personal financial and medical information. Though the Mark may openly offer consumers a variety of worthwhile applications, its primary function will be to covertly provide governments with a severe level of control over all individuals and their finances. Those who do not possess the Mark will be ruthlessly limited in their ability to manage finances of any kind. When governments the world over convert from cash to cashless financial systems, retailers, wholesalers, department stores, chain food outlets, and warehouses of all shapes and sizes will be forced to accept the Mark of the Beast and only the Mark for all transactions. Businesses will require every employee to possess the Mark so they may meet government requisites, such as taxation and payroll. Employers will require employees to possess the Mark so they can be payroll compliant, managing taxation and the matching payments for Social Security and other types of insurance or installments. All banking will require customers to have the new technology for bank accounts and processing of all checks and credit and debit cards. A person will not be able to purchase anything, including a mortgage or food/health products without the new technology, the Mark (taken from the book, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” chapter 13, subsection ‘The Mark of the Beast’ and Revelation 13:11-18)
Q13) When will The Mark of the Beast be released?
A13) The Mark of the Beast is currently in production and distribution. Any financial technology capable of financial transactions and identification which is also required to be imbedded or implanted within the human body of the individual is capable of representing the Mark of the Beast. When “The Mark” is openly declared by the Beast as mandatory at the beginning of the Great Consummation there will, at that time, already exist hundreds of millions of citizens currently sporting “The Mark” though “The Mark” will likely be known by numerous brands and logos.
Q14) According to Daniel 9:27: He shall confirm a covenant for how many yrs?
A14) He [Jesus] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week (three and a half years) he [Jesus] shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease [come to an end].
Q15) Who is “He” in Daniel 9:27?
A15) He [Jesus] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week (three and a half years) he [Jesus] shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease [come to an end]. See “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” chapter 7, page 77, subsection “He Shall Confirm a Covenant”
Q16) The 70 Weeks of Daniel R divided N2 how many segments?
A16) The term seventy weeks in Daniel 9:24 refer to the seventy segments of seven years each. The Hebrew word for seventy simply means the number seventy. On the other hand, the word weeks represents an exponential concept meaning “sevened.” The term sevened relates to multiplying the object in question (or in this case, the number) by seven. Based on the definition of the Hebrew word shabuwa, the writer used the term “week” rather than “sevened.” With this in mind, the prophecy’s segments—seven segments, sixty-two segments, and one segment—are each multiplied by seven years per segment. Using this paradigm, seventy weeks represents seventy segments multiplied by seven years per segment, equaling 490 years. According to the prophecy’s guidelines in verse 27, the one-week segment (or period of seven years) is divided into two equal parts, resulting in two three-and-a-half-year segments. This concept will be more fully developed shortly. (See “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” chapter 6, subsection “The Segments of Daniel’s Prophecy” beginning page 59, or Daniel 9:24-27)
Q17) How many edicts has Christ completed so far?
A17) Four edicts. The first four edicts were fulfilled during the first three and a half years of the seventieth week of the Seventy Weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27). The seventieth week was required to be divided into two three and a half years segments. The first half of the week just happened to coincides with Jesus’ ministry of three and a half years. (See “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse,” chapter 8, subsection “Transliteration of the Edicts.”)
Q18) What is Split Versing?
A18) Split-Versing reveals the divinely intended division within one verse or section of scripture as it applies to two or more prophetic periods of time. For example: Isaiah 61:1–2. Verse 2 applies to two separate and distinct periods in God’s plan for the salvation of humanity. The two distinct periods required to fulfill Isaiah 61:2 presents the very nature demonstrated through split-versing, as verse 2 relates to both the ministry of Jesus Christ and the Great Consummation of the Latter Days nearly 2,000 years later. Split versing is any verse or group of verses whose fulfillment requires two or more completely different and distinct segments in time. (See “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse,” chapter 7, subsection “The Theory of Split Versing,” page 72)
Q19) Jesus returns “For” or “With” the saints at the 2nd Advent?
A19) Jesus will return at the Second Advent as the Messiah with the Body of Christ to engage and end the Battle of Armageddon, destroy the city of Jerusalem and its temple, and then ascend to the throne of David (Daniel 9:24–27). The Second Advent will take place at the end of the Great Consummation, which coincides with the end of the Time of the Gentiles (Romans 11:25–29; Jude 1:14-15).
Q20) Jesus returns “For” or “With” the saints @ the 2nd Coming?
A20) The books of 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13 thru 5:9 indicate the Lord Jesus will return in the skies above the earth to gather the saints to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb at the beginning of the Day of the Lord (Matthew 24:27-31; Revelation 19:6-9).
Q21) The #GreatConsummation lasts how many yrs?
A21) According to the prophecy known as the Seventy Weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27) the Messiah will form a covenant during the seventieth week which will span seven years; however, the seven year period must be divided in the midst of the week or precisely in half equaling two segments of three and a half years each. During the first half of this covenant the Messiah will bring the blessing half of the covenant which will span three and a half years. Such was the case for Christ’s ministry which spanned the first half of the seventieth week. The Great Consummation will therefore span the second half of the seventieth week for a period of three and a half years.
Q22) Jacob’s Trouble was fulfilled by what 20th century event?
A22) (See, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse,” chapter 12, subsection “Scripturally Supportable Doctrine 7” page 193)
Q23) T or F: Tribulation Period is God’s Wrath?
A23) False! The Tribulation Period produces a crucible or time of separation by which God causes True-Christians to be separated from Pseudo-Christians before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ also known as the Rapture. (See, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse,” chapter 14, “The Great Tribulation Verses the Wrath of God”)
Q24) What are the primary differences between the Great Consummation
and Great Tribulation Rapture doctrines?
A24) The Great Consummation will take place during the biblical era known as the Latter Days, a time in which we currently live. What people commonly refer to as the Great Tribulation is actually only one piece of a two-part conclusion to God’s plan for the Latter Days and the completion of Christ’s Covenant with humanity. The book “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse” changes the misnomer known as the Great Tribulation to a more accurate title now referred to as the Great Consummation. This foundational change is based on a more appropriate communication of its Biblical purpose. Within the Great Consummation teaching there is a Tribulation Period. This should not be confused with the Great Tribulation. Rather, the Great Consummation is made up of both a Tribulation Period and a time of judgment known as the Wrath of God. According to scripture, the actual Tribulation Period itself will be a time of great trouble, unlike any time of trouble in the history or future of the human race (Daniel 12:1, Matthew 24:21). The Bible also commonly refers to the Wrath of God as the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is reasonably described in Isaiah 13:6–9. (See, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse,” chapter 1, subsection “Renaming the Great Tribulation”)
Q25) What is the meaning behind the title of the book, “This Side of the Whirlwind, The Coming Apocalypse”?
A25) On that evening when I came up with the title for “This Side of the Whirlwind” I had watched a move which depicted a couple entering a dark tunnel late in the evening in Central Park, New York, N.Y.. There were several people standing on ‘this side of that Tunnel,’ people who could have warned the doe-eyed couple they were in potential danger if they should enter that tunnel. But no, the bystanders simply allowed the love-struck couple to enter the danger-zone and one of them died before they could reach the other side.
That night as I considered the parallel implications I knew it was what I was needing to do; in fact, that was the message God was putting on my heart: I needed to warn the Body of Christ about the pending dangers from the Mark of the Beast while the Body of Christ was still on This Side of the Whirlwind.
Q26) Put events in proper order: Wrath of God; 2nd Advent; 2nd Coming; Rapture; Tribulation Period; Armageddon
A26) The Great Consummation begins with the Tribulation Period spanning 2½ years. This is the time of great trouble mentioned within the Word. The Tribulation Period is followed immediately by the Second Coming of Jesus and Rapture of the Body of Christ. The Second Coming and Rapture take place at the very beginning of the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord or Wrath of God then spans one year bringing God’s Judgment on humanity as the Battle of Armageddon slowly builds up to all out war. Once the Battle of Armageddon is in full swing and Israel is under siege the Messiah, Jesus Christ will return at the Second Advent with the Body of Christ to overthrow the Beast, destroy his armies and deliver the nation of Israel into the arms of their Savior and Messiah, Jesus Christ.
The definition used for the word weeks, as found in Daniel 9:24 is numerically located in the Hebrew and Chaldean sections of the dictionary under the alphanumeric H7620, meaning to be sevened [ASECB].
